The following account of Paintballing Adventures is written by Trev (who can relay this from first hand experience). Hope you enjoy…….
We were pumped! Our outfit… Major Uncle Alan- Expert Sniper, Corporal Flynn- little Ninja, Corporal Jai- Front Line Man, Corporal Kaitlin- Protector, and me Corporal Trev- the Sucker!
We arrived and were faced off with our opponents, four ultra mean looking thugs, gnashing their teeth and drooling from camouflage painted faces. They wanted blood and we were determined not to give it to them.
Our Ref led us to our first battle sight. A wooden fort in a forest, in which we were to defend.
Paintballs sting! It was time to go. Our Protector wasn’t too keen. Took a bit of convincing to keep her on board. Luckily she stayed, as she was certainly needed.
All was going really well with one of their guys down. Then Sucker took a hit followed by Protector. Suddenly Ninja shot Front Line Man fair square in his back! Friendly fire… Front Line Man was down and out and not too happy with his comrade. The battle continued and our guys ran out of amo. First battle goes to the thugs!
The battles continued with lots of sweat and tears. We nursed our welts and showed off our shirts covered in green paint splotches. We won some and lost more! Sniper was our most valued comrade, taking out many from his post.
The last fight was on a battle field with an old ruined plane and war boats in amongst scrub. This time we split teams with two thugs becoming comrades to Ninja and Front Line Man. My company consisted of Protector and two of the teeth nashing drooling thugs, now comrades.
The battle was heated and quickly we lost Protector to enemy fire. One by one my comrades fell leaving me alone against four. They had me pinned in a bunker. Managed to drop one guy and I had Ninja trapped in a hole. Every time he lifted his head I’d hammer him. I was running low on amo and choosing my shots carefully. All of a sudden Front Line Man came in out of the scrub from behind and landed two balls right in my back. Game over!
Excellent adventure guys – and hilarious to boot. Friendly fire indeed !!!!
Friendly fire from Flynn………..I didn’t see it, but Trev described it in detail. They had a ball and Flynn has been wanting to go again almost every day.
